V. for New Ross) cominued to deliver speeches ••!' a seditions character, the Government would deem i l.ucessary to prosecute them, and t& prohibit the meetings of the League. Field, the wounded juryman, is still lingering in a precarious condition. Dec. 1. The English Government lias decided to prosecute Win. Redmond for sedition, and to require Mr Davitt and Mr Healy, M.P.'s, to find first-cla*s security to be of good behavior, or in default they will be imprisoned. A constable lias been shot in County Mayo. Dec. 2. Another constable has been shot in Kerry.
