TEMUKA AND GERALDINE AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.
A special meeting of the Committee of the above Association was held last evening. Present—Messrs R. A. Barker (President), Quinn, Wills, Gray, Cain, and Tworuey. The affairs of the Horse Parade were considered and found satisfactory. Tenders wers received for the lease of the Association’s ground for grazing pnrpeses for 12 months, and that of Mr A. Grant, at £1 15s per acre, was accepted. Mr D. Leach was the only other tenderer, and he offered £1 7s per acre. On the motion of Mr Gray, seconded by Mr Twomey, the Secretary was requested to collect together all the hurdles and other loose property belonging to the Association.
