Lieuteaant-Gcucral Sir John Adye, K.C.8., the Chief of the Staff in Egypt and second in command to Sir Garnet Wolseley, is to return Home immediately in order to advise the Government as to the steps necessary in regard to the occupation of Egypt and the preservation of peace. Alexandria, Oct. 2. Baker Pasha arrived at Cairo to-day from Constantinople.
