In this case, which had been heard on a previous Court day.before the Resident Magistrate, judgment had been reserved till.this day when his Worship gave a verdict for defendant. Thomaa-Thorpe v. E. Green—Claim £9 lis 3d, for wages. Judgmentby default for amount claimed with costs., W. Storey v. H. Smith—Claim £1 Bs. Judgment by default.for amout sued for with costs* Cumming aud Hayes v. J. Carter — Claim £1 14s 6d on a judgment summons. Defendant was ordered to pay the amount forthwith, or in default one month's -imprisonment. W. Ackroyd v. J. Carter—Claim £4lßs Id, on a judgment summons. Ordered to pay the above amount forthwith or iu default one month's imprison-, ment. The Court then rose.
