OUR VOLUNTEERS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,- As on Monday next it is expected our Volunteers wdll return from the front, would it not be as well to accord them a cead mille failthe. They left their homes scarcely knowing whether they would returfffot, and although a bloodless batlieHias been fought and won, such might not have been the case, and they would have been subjected to a deadly baptism of fire, perhaps causing the death of some and seriously wounding others. They will, however, return home scatheless, and all honor to them say I. Why not, therefore, have pbms arranged so that they may he entertained in a proper manner at a luncheon on Monday, after .their arrival.—l am, etc., * Honor.
