Captain Boycott, when in Westport, was protected by the police. He was followed, and the crowd afterwards burned

his effigy. Father Conway Clanbur has been sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labor at the suit of Lord Ardingourfor assaulting a bailiff. He will

appeal. The Land Leaguers Dillon,Egan, Thos. P. Connor, and Redpath, have arrived at New York.
