Auckland, June 3. The City Council have arranged for a citizens’ ball in honor of the visit of the detached squadron. An address and the other usual forms of welcome have also been decided on. W. and F. C, Bindon have been arrested on a charge of setting fife to their premises last night. They were brought up at the Police Court to-day and remanded for a week on the application of their counsel; The cutter Teazer was wrecked on her voyage to Wade. No lives were lost.
