RECAPTURE OF McMANUS.
The police succeeded in recapturing McManus—arrested on the charge of larceny of a cash-box from the V inchester Hotel, and who succeeded in effecting his escape from the Jock-up at Geraldine on V ednesday evening last —at Rakaia yesterday. He was taken to Tiinaru by the late train last evening.
