(Before N. J. Wood, Esq., R.M.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. John Wishart, who had been arrested on Thursday last by Constable Burke, but bailed out on the following morning, was charged with having been drunk and •dijtgjderly. - accused admitted the[offence, and his Worship ordered him to pay the usual drunkard’s fee, ss, to Her Majesty. William Jones, arrested by Constable Burke on Saturday" night on a similar charge, and left to his own reflection in the drunkard’s cell in the lock-ap till the time for interviewing the representative of Justice oh the , Bench, was dismissed with a caution. The Court was then adjourned till 11 a.m. for ■ . ; CIVIL cases. Tangney v. Brosnahan—Claim £i 6s. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs. ’ Gumming and Hayes v. Bishop—Claim £2 19s. Judgment for plaintiffs, with coats. Same v. .Mcßratney—Claim £2 15s. plaintiffs, with costs. Roffand v. Meredith—Claim £7 6s. Judgment by consent. Carter v. Lynch—Claim £5 9s 6d. Mr Hamersley appeared for the plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff for £5 3s, with costs and solicitor’s fee. ALLEGED' ROBBERY WITH' VIOLENCE. Shortly after the risings of the Court ( . Gelton Coburn was charged before his Worship with having committed robbery with violence'from the person of Peter Johansen, near the Opibi bridge An Saturday night last. On the application of Sergeant Garlyon the accused was remanded till Monday next. 21st inst. - ’ • His Worship intimated that he, would = accept bail : accused in '£2s, and one surety of £25. This, however, not being forthcoming, the accused was forwarded to the Timaru gaol, to be brought up before the Court in Temuka on Monday next. t
