LICENSING COURT.

__♦ —- Temuka -Monday, March 7, 1881, [Before J. .Nugent Wood, Esq., R.M., (Chairman), and Messrs J. A. Garnack, A. Cox, sen., and S. V. Barker, J P.] The quarterly meeting of the Commissioners was held at the Court-house on Monday last. Mr Hamersley applied on behalf of Adam Orr Gilraour fcr a license for theSpur Hotel, Waitohi Flat. The license was grunted. Mr Austin, on behilf of Mr McSheeby Gentlemun, laid before the Commissioners piano for an hotel to be erected at Waitohi Flat, for an expression of opinion as to whether, in the event of the same being built, they would grant a license thereto. The Bench gave an unfavorable opinio a on the subject. The Court then rose.
