Road Board Meeting. The usual monthly meeting of the Temuka Road Board will take place to-day. « Tenders.—The'attention of carpenters is directed to an advertisement in another column calling for tenders for the erection of a cottage. Winchester Fair. Messrs WilJie, Allan and Stumbles will sell, at the Winchester Fair, to morrow, 30 head store cattle and 20 do yearlings. Messrs M'Lean and Stewart will also sell at tho Fair fat and storo sheep and cattle and daiiy cows. A Trap. —The concrete kerbing recently put down in the Main South Road is a decided improvement, but being in places some inches above the level of the footpath is rather dangerous. V.'o fear, unless something is done to bring the foolpaths to a level with the kerbing, a serious accident may happen some dark night.
