Monday, Jan. 31, 1881. (Before N. Wood, Esq., R.M.) CIVIL CASES. Northam v. Crompton.—Claim, £4 2a 9d. Judgment summons. Defendant was ordered to pay 20s per month, or in default 14 days imprisonment in the Addington Gaol. y Gumming and Hayes r. Prentice. —No appearance of defendant. The case was withdrawn on account of defendaftt having gone through tne Bankruptcy Court. Same v. Jones.— Claim, £3 3s for professional attendance. Judgment for amount claimed and costs.
Same v. Nelson. Defendant pleaded bankruptcy. Case withdrawn. Franks v. Carter.—Claim, £1 7s. Judgment for amount and costs.
Same v. Radford.—Claim £6 12s, cash lent. Mr White appeared for the defendant. Judgment for defendant with costs Temuka Road Board v. T. Trengrove Claim, 7s. Judgment for amount claimed and costs. G. Levens v. J. D. Whitaker. Professional attendance as Yetenary Surgeon. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for amount claimed and costs. Matthews and another v. Goldston.— Adjourned for a week.
