TO the edtior. Sm,—lt has been reported by most of the members of our local Brass Band and others that the Secretary of the 1.0.0. F. (Mr ffm. JJt. Uprichard), was solely to blame for engaging the Teruuka F\fe and Drum Band. Now, Sir, as one of the members of the Committee, who were appointed by the Lodge to carry out the Sports, I, on behalf of the Oddfellows’ Lodge, beg leave to say that the Secretary is not at all to blame, and at our last lodge night’s meeting it was unanimously carried “That the Secretary be exonerated from all blame,’ and that the reports which are spreading about aie totally false, and without any foundation whatever. —I am, &c., ONE OF THE COMMITTEE.
