The Porte is sending further drafts of troops to the districts of the E; irus and Thessaly in view of possible hostilities with Greece over the rectification of the frontier. The Albanians still continue to resist their removal irom Dulcigno, and have offered strong opposition to Riza Posha’s escort whew crossing the river Buljum. The Turkish commander however, deiced it advisable to avoid hostilities. Washington, Nov. 4. The Presidental election returns show that Garfield’s votes numbered over 200 majority of the electors of both Houses. Nov. fi. In a trial of strength it was found that the democrats possess a small majority in the Senate. Paris, Ncv. G. The execution of the decrees for the expulsion of the Jesuits from France has been completed, and their legality upheld. Rome, Nov. 5. General Garibaldi, who is now at Milan, unveiled to-day a monument in commemoration of the battle of Montana.
