XO THE EDITOR. Sir, —You will greatly oblige by inserting in your valuable columns the following, viz , I believe that in our R.M Court youths are allowed to serve summonses and act as assisting bailiffs. Now 1 am sure that this i*i not the right sort of thing tor young men to be brought up to. Every morning, between the hours of U and 10, you will see them pushing forward at a mighty speed to the Court House, and when any person wants to speak to the Clerk of the Court privately, of course that is out of the question. With all due respect to the Ch rk of Ihe Court, I should think that this matter ought to be remedied, and that the young men, who are now doing as above, and the parties who they are attached to, should look better for their future welfare. I would not mention names, but would like to see them in some office or store, or studying for some profession, and not to be serving their time as acting bailiffs.—l am, &v., ONE OF THE PUBLIC. Temuka, Oct. 29.
