Melbourne, Oct. 27. It is expected that Mr Murray Smith will lead ihe Opposition in the Assembly after the departure of Mr Service for England. In the Legislative Council'last night a Bill introduced by Sir Charles Sladen, one of the Members of th-j Council, for a reform of tha Constitution, was read a second time. Melbourne is new thronged with visitor from the country dutricts and the neighbouring colonies and New Zealand.
