At the preliminary investigation of the charge of murder against Kelly, Messrs Smith, Ohoomley, and Guarver represented the. Crown. Captain Standish and Superintendent Sa liev were present, and a large number of ladies. Kelly was still lame, and was carried to the dock and allowed a seat.
