TEMUKA PARK BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of the above Board was held in the Star Hotel Temuka, on Thursday last. Present Messrs Wilson (Chairman) Paterson, aud Gray. The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed.
The caretaker's report vyas read and approved. Tho following resolutions were passed : " That the contractors for cutting park, fenceas receive notice to complete the work."
"That the Chairman, Messrs Myers and Pateison be rangers for the ensiling month."
"That two laurel fences bo planted near the lower Park gate."
f'That Mr Paterson be asked to purchase trees tor planting, and to engage the necessary extra labor " Dv Hayes and Mr Qlliviey attended as a deputation from the Temuka C.iicket Club ,to ask the Board to purchase a stone roller, the Club being willing- to pay one third of the cost; the roller to belong to the P>oard. It was decided to ascertain the cost before a defiuate answer be given.
Accounts to the amount of L 6 15 were then passed for payment, and the meeting terminated.
