Melbourne, July 28. Arrived —Union Company's s.s. Hotorua, from Bluff. Sailea—Albion, s.s., for New Zealand, yesterday. His Excellency the Marquis of Nbrmanby on receiving the Address in Reply, expressed his regret that reference had been made to the want of confidence motion,
which was moved on Friday last, it being u a constitutional. Mr Service has tendered his resignation to the Governor, and Mr Berry has been summoned for the purpose .of forming a new Ministry. In the Legislative Assembly, supply has been passed, and the House adjourned till Tuesday. July 29. The 4ge to-day criticises adversely the Governor's remarks concerning the references in ,the Address in Eeply to the motion passed on Friday re vote of #6,con* fidelice. Sydney, July 28. Arrived—it T nion Go.'s steamer Wakatjpji from Wellington. A rush which has taken place to Temar still continues. There is no water, and the men are stacking the wash. Tie steamer Menmuir has arrived from Hong Kong, with the new season's tea. The New Zealand portion will be sent pel Wukatipu. Mauritius, July I§. Saded—Catherina, with 350 tons of augur, for Melbourne.
