" I have successfully treated my dogs for the last ten years, during which time I have never lost one by distemper As soon as you notice the first symptoms giro from a teaspoonful to a dessert spoonful of good castor oil—according to age of dog—inttwo gills of warm, thin gruel Then take six inches of tape, soap it well, and pass it through, skin on top of neck ; lie the ends to keep from coming out: draw the back, •wards and forwards avery day Repeat the castor oil every secofid morning for a week Keep the dog during the treatment away from other dogs in a dry, warm place, but must have plenty of fresh air and nothing but good cooked food
