’ Bbisbanb, July 3 The Queensland revenue returns to the. 30th June have been published, and show that the revenue for the last quarter amounted to £409,000, or an increase of £58,000 es compared with the June quarter 0f1879j the total ; revenue for the year 1879-80 was £1,482,000 - against £1,481,0 0 in 1878-79 j the expenditure for the June quarter was £535,000, an increase of L15,00<3 compared with that of the same quarter ,of last year ;; the total expenditure for the year 1 was L 1,673,000 against L 1,678,000 in 1878-79 the total, deficit on,.the 30th June, 1879, was L 177,000 but it npw stands at L 259,000 Sydney, July 3. The New South Wales revenue returns for last quarter published to-day show that the have been* L 1,176,000, an increase of LllOO compared with last year. The balance at -credit of the .consolidated revenue on the 3Qth Juno was £2,048000., Melbourne, July 3.
