GRAND NATIONAL STEEPLECHASE. Christchurch, May 20. The following are “ Yoltigeur’o ” training notes for to-day This morning Agent and Stella went on the flat, the former going three times round the plough, the latter twice. Grey Morans and Loch Lomond had a steady canter twice round the plough, and Baron and Hark?way were sent thb same distance. On my arrival I found Marie 'Antoinette and Claienco just pulling np, after a three mile gallop I c'nnot therefore say how they went, but I hardly fancy the latter’s condition. Satellite, with a light boy up, was sent twice round the plot gh. By-the-bye, they are building the stone wall on the plough, which seems to me a very stupid arrangement, as, unless they can ensure fine weather the taking off, if it happens to be in the same state as it was last week, will be so greasy and bolding that no horse will be able to raise at his fen e. There is plenty of room on the grass beyond, where it is all good sound going, nd there is nothing that I nan see to prevent it being put there. Old Sir Tatton, who lately injured himself, was siiot this morning at Sam Powell’s, and will be buried to-day with the honors due to a horse of his sterling merits. Mr Bradley, kindly treated me to an inspection of Miss Huugerford in her box.
