The total receipts for general church purposes have amounted to L'1.49 8s 8,1, of which Lu 3 5s were collected for pew rents, the balance in offeriories. The expenditure reached LloO lis Gd. During the past year 105 services have been he'd in our church,6sby the resident roiidcter and other clergy, and 42 by the , lay readers. We regret to have to state that at present we aro without the services of a lay reader. With regard lo the e!:<iir, the thanks of the whole church are due to Miss Campbell for the kind and n-idy maaner wjih which she has always c me forward and assisted at the organ during our irability to'obtain an organist and choirmaster. Iu fact, '< hat office still requires tilling up. The Sunday School has been carried on under the able management of Mr 11. Clinch, and we are sorry to have to add that many scholars regret the retirement of Miss Simpson, who so ably filled her post as teacher in the school during uearty 1 he whole of the year now elapsed. During the past year two concerts have lieen held in aid of tbe Parsonage Building Fund, but owing to so many events of a similar nature taking place at nearly the same tune as those, small amounts only were realised at each entertainment.
