ENGLISH AND FOREIGN London April 6. So far the Liberals have gained 63 seats from the,Conservatives.- The’ have shown increased strength within ■the-' last few 'days." Thp Daily Telegraph says the Ministry will probably resign immediately on Parliament- assembling, and so soon as the new Government is announced they will ch&lldnge-thera.’T The country consti uencies are showing a decided tendency towards returning Conservatism. The elections returns so far show- that the Liberals hare gained 67 seats which were held last-Parliament bjr 5 ’ Conservatives, five seats havfrig been won since the sth instant. The Liberals are, however,. being far less successful in the Counties. Mr Parnell, Home Ruler, who represented the County -of.-Meath in the ; last House has been elected for Cork. -• Adelaide flour, per 280 lbs, ex warehouse, 41s,'fid ; market quiet. The Liberals have now gained 88 seats and contrary to expectation, the country elections are going in favor of the Liberals. An opin’on is gaining ground that the Ministry will resign before the meeting of Parliament . - ; _ . St. Petersburg, April r. - An official denial has been given to the report which - recently gamed currency to the effect that China had shown open hostilities towards,Russia by despatching troops across the River Amoor, and that thb latter * had committed acts of aggression towards' the inhabitants of Kulhga. Bombay, April 7. The reported death of Mahomed Jhan, the leader of the -Afghan tribes, at Ghuznee, is denied. .
