Melbourne, March 4. Correction for Melbourne telegrams of yest' rday : —There have been 190 cantatas received in competition for the prize offered for a Cantata to be performed at the openirg of the Exhibition. Cancel items re 190 exhibits and Union Bank dividend.

Clark,-Minister of Mines ; Mr En!,. Minisier of Public " l . orlcs : Mr Cuthbert, Postinaster-Gem;ral. and Commissioner of Customs*; Mr Fianeis and Mr Anderson, Members of Cabinet without office. The Legislative Assembly last night refused to vote the salary for an assistant Private-Secretary to the Governor, or anr increase to the salary and farage allowan >e for the Aide-de-camp. Strong exception «-as taken to a statement by Sir Henry Parke 3, the Premier, that the increase wasnot submited in loinpliance with a minutefrom the Governor.
