Tlie usual monthly inspoetinn of this company took place at the Volunteers’ Hall on Friday last, the Bth inst, and corsiderii g the busy season, iho attendance was good, there being over 30 members present, exclusive of the band, which numbered about 20. The company was taken oukido the hall, and put through a number of movements by Capt. Y»ungi after v.hich the band fell in, and all went for a march through the town, along too Main South. .Road as far as W Sic el band’s and bark, the band playing some lively <dues on the way. On then- return to the hall, Captain Young look occasion to compliment the men upon their soidier-bko ‘appearance. JElo was pleased to notice their steady improvement, and, now.;that they had got their full uniform, he really fed. p’roud of them. MONTHLY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting then took place. Captain Young in the chair. The minines of the three previous meettings were read and confirmed. Smart McD.
