The Sub-committee appointed to see after the bridge being built togive access to the lower land, reported that fair progress had br>en made work. The. Chairman stated that the walks in the plantations* required fruiting, -as- the grass is too lone: for wet weather. He had spoken to Mr M>tson.. to arrange in some way to have this done before; h<s went to his harvest work, and he understood Mr E Igeler was to do it for him,.but nothing had yet been done. Mr Gray said the gorse fences also requiredcutting, as they encroached 'upon the footpath. -Mr. Barker said the young tree; along'the would' grow. better, jif the grass wns r'oired away from the' roots. : The necessity of this was admitted, as 'also of the fences and walks, but t"io caretaker having worked ahead of his time arreed to be, given to Board, it was re-. Wilson, J. Paterson, S. D. Barker, -K.. F. * Gray, and J. Meyers.
