TEMUKA ROAD BOARD ELECTION

Mr Wi! ! s then de hired Messrs Barker and Talbot to be duly elected for the ensuing year. Mr B rker, in returning thanks, said, lie did not ex ect to beat Mr Talbot. He had to thank them for Urn inn or they had done him by re-elect ng him.

Mr .Talbot, in thanking the ratepayers for the honor they'had done him, j-aid he did i.-.t i xpi < t to beat Mr Barker, as he had lakcn very little interest in the ejection, but he thanked them for his re-,a; - pointmeut. Mr Waiving then proposed, and Mr Storv seconded, a vote of thanks to the Return! g OdiCer.
