; Stdnby, Not. 18. The Natabudgery bushrangers bailed up over thirty persons. Moonlight and : Nesbitt were amongst the gang. The former was leader. He was captured uninjured. Three civilians going to assist the police fell into an ambuscade, and were given five minutes to prepare for death; the police arriving, a desperate fight ensued. 1 . The six bushrangers captured were found concealed in a house close to the scene of the encounter. The constable wounded yesterday is in a critical state. The Natabudgery bushrangers i have bpen identified as Victorians. There were -five youths under the leadership of Capt. Moonlight. They intended to rob the Gundagai Bank. Brisbane, Not. ,18. Two hundred blacks attacked seven Chinamen who were fishing north of Cooktovrm. ■ spearing one. ' Cooktown, Nor. 18. Arrived—Ocean.
