The depositors in the Australian and European Bank have agreed not to remove the balance of current accounts within a certhin time. The investigation of the Bank’s affairs is satisfactory. £30,000 will, fully cover an}' probable losses. A call of £l, in two instalments, payable in July and August, will be made. The Provincial Bankinvestigation shows that the assets will realise £15,000 to £20,000 more than was estimated. The call cf £1 at present is to assist in covering the liabilities.
