The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will leave Christchurch on Friday, October 11th. Mails close at Temuka as follows : Christchurch and Ashburton—7-40 a.m., 2 30 p.m.. and 410 p.m. Geraldine and Waihi Bush—ll.so a.m. daily. Winchester and other intermediate offices on the line—7.4o a.m and 4.10 p.m. Timaru —910 a.m., noon, and 5-30 p.m. Dunedin (direct) —noon. Waitohi Flat—Wednesday and Saturday, at 3 p.m. WM. SMITH, Rub-Postruaster. Temuka, September 17 1871.
