MILFORD HARBOUR BILL.
The following telegram from the hon member for Geraldine to Mr A. Wilson was received on Wednesday :
Wellington, Aug 14
The Waste Lauds Committee this this morning rejected the endowment and foreshore clauses of the Milford Bill without examining me. As soon as the House met I made a push about it, and the House ordered the Bill back to Committee, where I hope to get a majority.
