Te Kiri : Mrs. Horgan presided at the August meeting, when one new member was welcomed. A demonstratiOn on the making of meringues was given by Mrs. Horgan. Twenty-four knitted articles were handed in for patriotic use. Competitions resulted : . Soap bag for soldier, Miss Collins 1, Mrs. Langlands 2, Mrs. Coxhead snr. 3 ; nut and raisin loaf. Mrs. Coxhead snr. ; bloom, Mrs. Stewart. Hostesses were Mesdames Sayed and Stewart.
