Whangamomona News
A farewell was held in the Whangamomona hall in honour of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Jennings, who are now living at New Plymouth. Mr. Jennings spent almost all his life at Whangamomona. On benalf of friends. Whangamomona residents, and railway workers, Mr. A. Murphy made a presentation of a dinner service. Dance music was played by Miss M. Trower (piano) and Mr. R. B. Pidgeon (violinl. with extras by Miss J. Partridge and Mr. H. Gordon. Masters of ceremonies were Messrs. C. Fletcher and S. Gilmour.
