Okaiawa Church Campaign
There was a large attendance in the Okaiawa hall when the Rev, J. S. Holland gave an address on the campaign for Christian order. Members of several denominations were present. Afternoon tea was served. A patriotic euchre party was organised by the Okaiawa Women's Institute. Mr. W. Bridgwood was in charge of card play, and prizewinnors were: Mrs. Jackson 1, Mrs. A. Ward 3 ; Mr. Courtnay 1. Mr. Allan 2. Mrs. W. Lund has returned from Palmerston North. Mrs. Livingston has returned to Inaha after being the guest of Mrs. Crocker, Okaiawa. . Mr. and Mrs. N. Nairn have arrived from Fielding to live at Okaiawa. Miss Nancy Scott, Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs. W. Blair. Mrs. Yardley has returned from WellingMrs. J. F. Wards has returned from Auroa. Mr. K. Gray, Te Aroha, is visiting his mother, Mrs. Gray, Okaiawa. Mr. and Mrs. Croaker, who were guests of Mrs. W. Johnston, have returned to Taumarunui. Miss Maddock was the guest of Mrs. N. Nairn.
