Soviet Guerrilla Girl On Visit to Washington
/Rec. 6.30 p.m. Washington, Aug. 29. j Russia's No. 1 guerrilla girl, Ludmila , Pavlichenko, aged 26, who is officially I credited with killing 309 Nazi soldiers, j arrived from Moscow in a bomber to ' attend the International Student Assembly. She was accompanied by two male Russian students, one of whom won the title "Soviet Union's Hero" by killing 152 Nazis with 154 bullets. Miss Pavlichenko will spend the night at the White 1 House as the guest of President and j Mrs. Roosevelt, thus being the first I Soviet citizen to sleep at the White 'House.
