A message from Richmond, California, says that the Henry Kaiser shipyard has launched a 10,000-ton Liberty ship 24 days after the keel was laid, establishing a new record for speedy construction Mr. Kaiser predicted that within a few months his yards would launch 10,000tonners on an 18-day construction schedule.
