Stabilised Price For Meat In Australia Expected
f ' - Rec. 6.30 p.m. Canberra, Aug. 29. The Australian Government expects to have a s|heme for the stabilisation of meat priees operating within a few weeks. Alarming increases in the meat price, chiefly beef, have cauced considerable concern. The Government desires producers to secure a reasonable stabilised price ■ in order to avoid grave losses in the industry.
