Struck by Motor-car

Gisborne, Aug. 29.

Overtaken and struck by a motor-car when she was about to cross a bridge last evening, Miss Lsabel Dalgleish Miller, aged 23, was killed instantaneously. Miss Miller was a well known hockey player and had represented Poverty Bay for several years. A sequel to the accident was heard in the Magistrate's Court this morning when Thomas George Atchison, aged 34 years, storekeeper, was charged with neghgent driving causing death. He was remanded until Wednesday.
