New Record Made For Cheese Output In North Taranaki

The markcd swing over from the manufacture of butter to the manufacture of cheese last ycar in North Taranaki was strikingly shown in the report presented at the annual meeting of the Taranaki Producers' Frcezing Works Co. Ltd. ycsterday. It was a striking trihute to Ihe dairy farmers of Taranaki that during tlic past two years they had incrcased their cheese production by 105.000 crates, said thc chairman, Mr. L. J. M. Purdie, the Iatter not seeking reelection,' there were three nominations, the election rcsulting in the return of Messrs. L. ll. Rundle and G. H. Bell. Mr. R. B, Sutton was the other nominee. Mr. E. P. Wehster was l-e-appointed auditor. at the same fee as last year. Thc chairman's honorarium and the directors' fees were also flxcd at the same amounts as previously. Mr. L. J. Rundle was unanimously reclected chairman of directors.
