Manutahi Presentations
A preservation evening in honour of Private Eric Parker at Manutahi was well attended. Card prizewinners were: Mrs. Lockley snr. and Mr. R. Larvell : Mrs. E. Parker and Mr. H. Lockley consolation. Mr. H. Dickie, M.P., presented the guest of honour with a cheque from residents of the district, and Mr. A. B. Muggeridge made a presentation on behalf of the Manutahi Co-operative Dairy Company. Mrs. G. Foreman made a presentation to Mrs. E. Parker on behalf of the W.D.F.U. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss J. Campbell and partner. Music was played by Miss M. O'Sullivan, with an extra by Mrs. Miles. Miss L. Richards and Mr. S. Richardj recently visited Otakeho. Mrs. C. Buchenham. Hawera, visited M s 6. R. Denby. Miss L. Muggeridge is visiting Hawera. Miss M. Forrester is visiting Mrs. S. R Denby. Mr. D.. Richarcjs is visiting Hawera. Miss J. Julian recently visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. U. Julian.
