Appreciation Shown Of Mr. H. M. Purdie's Work
Appreciation of his valuable services during 22 years on the directorate was expressed by members at the annuaJ meeting of the Taranaki Producers' Freezing Works Co. Ltd. yesterday when they presented Mr. H. M. Purdie, who did not seek re-election, with a silver entree dish and sandwich tray. Mr Purdie's association with the industry for nearly 60 years on the producing. manufacturing and administrative s'ide' and his wise foresight and honesty ot purpose had made him a valuable ; menv» ber, said the chairman, Mr. L. J. Rundle, in making the presentation. Mr. Purdie was the guest of the directors at lunch.
