Anniversary of Signing Of Anglo-Egyptian Treaty

London, Aug. 26. The sixth anniversary of the signing of. the Anglo-Egyptian treaty was commemorated by the Egyptian Prime Minister, Nahas Pasha, to-day in a broadcast. "The cause of democracy is Egypt's cause," he said. "Egypt is willing to cooperate with our Allies within the limit of the f.nglo-Egyptian treaty." The British Ambassador to Cairo, Sii Miles Lampson, in a broadcast said he believed that the Anglo-Egyptian treaty would endure because it was conceived in a spirit of liberty and mutual cooperation. Egypt had remained a loyal and faithful ally. The Belgian, Colonial Minister, describing Mr. Churchill, said: "He is the personification of that great British spirit which never loses confidence in itself, never weakens under severe blows and knows that it will win because it wants to win."
