Contribution to A.N.A. Club. ' The monthly contribution dispatched to the A.N.A. A presentation was made to Sergeant Stewart Nairn at ihe Hawera competitions festival on Tuesday night. In making the presentation the chairman of the Hawera Competitions Society committee, Mr. F. W. Horner, said Sergeant Nairn had given up the last two days of his leave to pipe for the national dancing. Sergeant Nairn had begun competing in the dancing and singing classes at the age of five years with considerable 6uccess, and for the past four or five years he was official piper. Child Fractures Arm. Shona Trass, Mangatoki, aged 11 years, who fractured an arm when she fell from a tree, was admitted to the Hawera hospital yesterday. She was reported . last night to be progressing favourably.
