New Commander In Egypt Praises Russians
Rec. 7.45 p.m. Cairo, Aug. 23. Major-General Russel Maxwell, new commander-in-chief Egypt, who went to Moscow with Mr. Averell Harriman, said he received a most favourable impression of the Soviet's management of the war situation. The Russians were pleased with the behaviour of their American equipment.
