Mr. 'A. L. Moore will leave New Plymouth to-day to spend a few days' holiday in the Rotorua district. Dr. H. D. Skinner, of Otago Universit.y, Dunedin, arrived last night to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Skinner, New Plymouth. Dr. J. S. Church has been gazetted an assistant inspector of hospitals for Taranaki. The appointment is for special work and will not involve his leaving New Plymouth. Lieutenant-Colonel G. J. McNaught, new principal of the New Plymouth Boys' High School, who will take up his appointment at the commencement of next term, is expected to arrive at New Plymouth early in September.
