Tribute To Outstanding Work of Mr. R. S. Forsyth

Commenting on the death of Mr. R. S. Forsyth, the deputy Prime Minister, Mr. D. G. Sullivan, said New Zealand had lost one of its outstanding representatives tn the United Kingdom. Mr. Forsyth, who had been London manager of the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board since its inception, had rendered signal service to New Zealand meat producers, to the Meat Board and to the Dominion, said Mr. Sullivan, and by his capacity and personality had done much to extend outlets for New Zealand meat. The High Commissioner at London, Mr. W. J. Jordan, has been asked to convey the sincere sympathy of the Government to the relatives of Mr. Forsyth in their loss.
