A dance in aid of funds lor the St. John Ambulance Brigadc was held a! Uruti. Cndcts L. P. .Tohnson, R. A. Larsrn. M. R. Jones, C. L. Larsen. V Heath niu! N. R. Joncs were presenled with badges. Novelty dances were won hy Mr. and Mrs. RadclifTe. Mrs. S. Lawrence and Mr. C. O'Donncll, and Miss W. Murray and Mr. ^ Misses N- I-awrence and M. Radclifle have returned from Tauranga, Rotorua and Lake Taupo. Miss P. Rra, of the Hawera hospital nursing slaff. is the gucst of lier sister, Mrs. Don. JtcDonald. Mrs. A. Johnson and Miss D. .Tohnson recently visitcd Mr. and Mrs. J. Bcll, Lgmont Village. Air and Mrs. G. C. Tcmpcro were recently guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. Tempero.
