Irregular Attendance Of Maori School Children

Eight notices to parents, all Maoris, were sent in the month, reported the attendance offlcer, Mr. F. Liley, to the monthly meeting of the Taranaki Education Board at New Plymouth. Several notices of warning were sent to all the parents, he said, but they had the idea they could send the children to school just when they liked.
