The Moslem League working committee, after three days' debate, passed a resolution stating that they were willing to consider apy proppsals foj: the creation of ' a . provisional government' in India, prpvided their «demand for jPakistan was conceded. They were also willing to negotiate on such proposals with any other political parties on a footing of equality. The resolution expressed hope that Moslems would be able to carry on their peaceful occupations without intimidation from any quarter, otherwise they would be compelled to resist in order to protect their lives,: honour and property. "The Moslem League' is of the opinion that if the Moslem masses are to be aroused to greater war efforts, with all : the sacrifices involved, they must be a sI sured that these will end in the realisaI tion of their goal of Pakistan," the resoi lution adds.
